Don Cleland
I have 20+ years of experience in branding and strategy, but my career life began as an industrial designer. Skills I learned then — problem solving, lateral thinking, identifying which small changes lead to big improvements — have continued to be invaluable while working with clients over the last two decades. Curiosity about the connections between emotions and behaviours, along with the powerful role design can play in making those connections, is what gets me out of bed in the morning. Leading strategy at Pendo, I love spending my days helping our clients and their teams build deeper brand connections, discovering meaningful insight, and then developing creative solutions. This curiosity is shared by the Pendo team. It’s what inspired us to start the agency and directs our work in every way.
