Virtual Career Weeks

Up to four times a year, the RGD offers a week of virtual portfolio reviews and mentoring sessions with senior design professionals, career-related webinars and newsletter content.

Who Can Participate?

Associate RGDs, Student RGDs, and other emerging designers—including non-members—are invited to sign up for 30- to 45-minute virtual portfolio review and/or mentoring sessions with senior creatives from across Canada.

What to expect

Throughout this week-long event, senior industry professionals will:

Provide feedback on your portfolio
Help you practice presenting yourself
Answer career-related questions
Offer guidance on your professional path

How it works

About a month before each Career Week, the RGD shares its list of available senior creatives with potential session times/dates.
You can then pick your preferred reviewer(s)/mentor(s) in their session times that work best for you. (Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis.)
Then a week before the Career Week, we'll connect you with your reviewer(s)/mentor(s) to set up your virtual meetings.
