Code of Ethics

Introduction

Registered Graphic Designers (RGDs) are committed to the highest professional and ethical standards when working for clients, as employees, and in service to the general public. The RGD, together with DesCan and SDGQ, has created a unified Code of Ethics for their Members to abide by in their professional practice.

All RGD Members are required to abide by the "Rules" outlined in the Code of Ethics. These Rules are supported by a set of "Best Practices". Rules are intended to be clear, objective and easy to follow; Best Practices are more nuanced guidelines for Member behaviour.
