CreativeMornings Toronto: A global view for local relevance

Toronto Friday March 27 @ 8:15 AM ET

CreativeMornings is a free monthly breakfast lecture series for the design and creative community, featuring an inspiring guest speaker followed by a structured networking event. Join us this month for a talk by Adobe Product Manager Matt Rae on how depth, craft and clarity emerge when we stop chasing everything at once:

In a time when creative tools - especially AI - are expanding what’s possible at an overwhelming pace, this talk reframes “local” not as geography, but as attention. Drawing from his journey in photography, design and product development, Matt explores how depth and craft come from repetition, focus and intentional filtering - rather than chasing every new opportunity. Using the metaphor of the mind as a city, Matt reflects on the balance between staying grounded in the creative neighborhoods we know well and stepping beyond them to gain perspective - without becoming overrun by distraction.

In a world of infinite possibility, “local” becomes a practice of choosing where our attention lives.

Free Tickets go live Friday March 20th - subscribe to the CreativeMornings Toronto eNewsletter at CreativeMornings to be notified when they're up for grabs, or just for more information!
