Reporting to the Director, you’ll collaborate with the entire team to transform complex concepts and words into engaging, visually dynamic content, delivering and managing traditional print and digital media design. As part of our team, you’ll help projects flow smoothly from concept to completion.

Job responsibilities
- Bring complex and technical ideas to life through creative concepts and visual design
- Design materials that align with marketing principles, consumer behaviours, and client brand guidelines
- Own the creative for recurring deliverables (quarterly emails, bulletins, announcements, reports, etc.) to ensure they remain contemporary, engaging, and innovative
- Update and manage the content of client WordPress websites
- Multi-task and prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs for yourself, and for the team
- Spearhead quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and consistency in content and designs – this includes thorough quality control skills through meticulous attention to detail
- Keep up to date on design trends, industry standards , and share findings and insights with the team
- Work with client design teams to ensure design files are organized, archived, documented, and appropriately saved according to best practice
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative work environment, can easily shift between priorities with agility, and possesses the following attributes:
- A strong portfolio is a must – showcasing creativity and design skills
- 4+ years of progressive experience in a graphic design role
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic/multimedia design
- Excellent understanding of typography, concept design, and communicating ideas through imagery
- Seasoned in brand development and the creative process
- Extremely proficient in the Microsoft suite of products (designs sometimes needs to be in an editable format for our clients, such as Word and PowerPoint)
- Commanding knowledge of Adobe Creative suite
- Accomplished at delivering on time, with quality, and within budget
- Solid understanding of print production outputs, colour management, and print house procedures

- A creative spark fueled by intellectual curiosity
- A desire to explore, evolve, and continuously improve the ways we visually connect with our audiences
- Extreme attention to detail within your own work and while collaborating with others
- Skilled at maintaining focus while working on multiple client projects
- Proficiency in providing clear and concise explanations of design ideas and proposed visual direction
- The ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Skilled at effectively navigating, communicating, and managing competing priorities
- Experience applying existing brand guidelines and standards to new materials
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and find solutions under pressure
- Other helpful (but not required) assets:
Animation skills, 2d vector (Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro)
Prior experience with insurance companies, financial institutions, HR consulting firms or other professional services firms
Proficiency in French
