Wayfinding in a Fast-Paced Environment
virtual Thursday April 23 @ 2 p.m. ETFinding your way in a fast-paced environment like a transit facility (i.e., subway station) can be tricky. Designing for such environments requires more intuitive, functional and time-sensitive wayfinding systems. Drawing on my experience in wayfinding design for subway and train stations in Toronto and airports elsewhere, I will highlight a couple of design principles essential for fast-paced environments and wayfinding in general.
Key takeaways:
- Importance of good wayfinding design
- Wayfinding design fundamentals
- Understanding wayfinding design for transit facilities
