We’re looking for a Junior Environmental Graphic Designer to join our team and help bring thoughtful, engaging spaces to life. Working closely with a Senior Environmental Graphic Design Lead, you’ll take established creative concepts and turn them into polished, accurate, production-ready design work across environmental graphics, signage, wayfinding, branded environments, and spatial experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop design layouts, artwork, presentations, mockups, and production files based on direction from the Senior Design Lead.
  • Apply established concepts and brand guidelines across a range of environmental applications.
  • Prepare artwork and documentation for fabrication and production.
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, clients, vendors, and fabricators.
  • Assist with design development, revisions, and project documentation.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Learn and grow alongside an experienced creative team.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 5 years experience.
  • Completion of a four-year post-secondary program in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Environmental Graphic Design, or a related discipline from a recognized college or university.
    (Equivalent combinations of education and professional experience may be considered.)
  • Minimum 1 year of professional graphic design experience, ideally with exposure to environmental graphics, signage, interiors, exhibitions, or architecture.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Excellent typography, layout, composition, and production skills.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a strong understanding of design fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, dimensions, and spatial information.
  • Collaborative, organized, curious, and receptive to direction.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design and/or environmental design work.
  • Familiar with working on a PC Platform
     

Nice to have:
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and dimensions.
• Strong illustration skills, with an ability to hand sketch and create perspective drawings.
• Indigineous knowledge

Salary range

50K to 57K
