My design foundations have been built around editorial design, where I have learned how to work with content and transform it into visual and engaging storytelling. From the basics of typography to experimental lettering. From the simple modular and structured grid to the surprising shapes and forms one can create on print products, from designing a simple page story to creating an original design or redesigning a publication. With over 20 years of experience as a creative director and graphic designer, I help clients connect with their audience through engaging visual storytelling and communication. I am the founder and owner of Daniel Esqueda Design, a collaborative graphic design studio specializing in corporate branding, publications (including magazines, annual reports, and newspapers), and information design projects for public and corporate clients across diverse industries. I have led the design, redesign, and project management of various print and digital publications, including newspapers, magazines, iPad projects, and books. I have also developed visual communication strategies and materials for marketing and branding purposes. My work has earned accolades from prestigious organizations such as SND, SPD, and a! Diseño awards (in Mexico). I am also a Registered Graphic Designer (RGD) and hold a master's degree in Marketing and Digital Communication. I’m passionate about problem-solving through the power of visual communication, and I continually seek new learning and growth opportunities.
