Willy Wong
Willy Wong leads the creative, digital and marketing teams responsible for the brand stewardship of NYC through NYC & Company, the City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization. Since 2006, they've produced global advertising campaigns, launched major civic initiatives, programs, and services and built content platforms and products for digital, mobile, social and retail environments. A focus on design is one of the instruments to promote New York City, which is why Willy decided to bring a range of existing fairs and shows, including the Frieze New York art fair and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) under the denominator of NYCxDesign. Willy teaches at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons The New School for Design. He received his MFA from Yale School of Art and AB from Dartmouth College.
