Experience Thinking & AI Strategy
virtual Thursday November 13 @ 2 p.m. ETAI is transforming how experiences are delivered, but how can designers ensure these experiences remain human-centered and truly valuable? This session explores how Experience Thinking provides the strategic foundation for integrating AI across brand, content, service and product experiences. Learn to connect organizational goals, human needs and data opportunities into actionable AI experience strategies that drive innovative design grounded in empathy, purpose, and value — not just technological possibilities.
About Tedde van Gelderen
Tedde is an experience architect and founder of Akendi. He infuses Akendi, its services and methodology with his drive to make customer and user experiences go beyond a singular product or service. Experience Thinking starts with the holistic experience customers and users have with an organization over time, then guides the emerging and enabling technologies and content to create intentional experiences. In his view, Experience Thinking should become deeply rooted in organizations creation processes, from strategy, research and testing to experience design.
Tedde has a master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology. A graduate of Radboud University, the Netherlands in Cognitive Ergonomics, Tedde has more than 25 years applying experience thinking in both public and private sectors. Prior to co-founding Akendi, Tedde was a founding partner of Maskery & Associates and worked for several enterprise companies including Nortel Networks, KPMG Management Consulting and Philips Design.
