Call for nominations for RGD's 2025 Board of Directors
Certified RGD Members are invited to run for RGD's Board of Directors to participate in the strategy and decision-making of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers.
The Call for Nominations for the 2025-2026 RGD Board of Directors is now open to Certified RGDs interested in running for election or encouraging fellow RGDs to run by putting forward a nomination.
Nomination Criteria
Only Certified RGD Members in good standing are eligible to nominate or to be nominated and to run for a position on the Board of Directors. Further details on eligibility criteria may be found in RGD’s By-law.

Deadline for Nominations
Nominations must be completed and either emailed or mailed by Friday, January 24, 2025, 5 PM PT.
About the Board
The affairs of the Association are managed by a Board of Directors of 9 to 14 RGDs, as well as 1 Student RGD Member and 2 Associate RGD Members. RGD Directors serve for two-year terms. The Board is responsible for long- and short-range planning, policy setting, monitoring operations and ensuring adequate governing documents are regularly reviewed.
Director Responsibilities
Directors have a fiduciary responsibility and must exercise the duties of their office honestly, in good faith and with the highest degree of care, diligence and skill. Directors are asked to familiarize themselves with the Act and Bylaws; attend regular meetings; serve on Committees; attend the Annual Meeting; stay informed of the Association’s activities and programs; uphold confidentiality and provide guidance and leadership supporting RGD’s mandate, goals and initiatives.
