Kiona Cai is a passionate Visual and Graphic Designer with extensive industry knowledge. She has a solid educational background and is currently a Full-time Faculty Lead at LaSalle College Vancouver in British Columbia. Kiona's dedication to education and ability to engage students in a creative learning process makes her an asset to the institution. Her industry perspective ensures that her students are well-prepared for the dynamic world of graphic design.
Before joining LaSalle College Vancouver, Kiona worked as a Full-time Graphic Design and Foundations Instructor at various schools in Vancouver. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of graphic designers was evident during her time in this role.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Kiona has demonstrated an impressive commitment to delivering high-quality design work as an active Freelance Graphic Designer. Throughout her career, she has served various design studios in multiple positions, including as an in-house designer and a graphic designer in a design firm. Her work history highlights her versatility and dedication to producing exceptional design work that meets the needs of her clients.
Kiona holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) emphasis in Visual Communication and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) emphasis in Visual Communication from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Her academic and professional experience has shaped her into a well-rounded designer and educator.
