Adriana Bucur Associate RGD
My creative journey began in Bucharest, Romania, where I spent most of my childhood imagining stories and drawing them. However, in a communist country, the chances of getting an art education were slim, so I earned a degree in Economics and started working as a journalist while still at university. Writing became my career, but it was also a way to express my creative side.
In 2017, I moved to Vancouver, Canada, and discovered a new way to express my feelings through photography. I enrolled in the Photography Program at Langara College, and as I progressed through my courses, I became fascinated with lighting and image editing techniques. This was my first step towards a career as a graphic designer. I obtained my diploma in the field through the program offered by VCC. The skills I learned as a graphic designer are also tools for my art.
