As Chipp transitioned from a payment-processing platform to an all-in-one AI product, its brand needed to evolve too. The challenge? Create a brand that reflects their core belief that AI isn’t just for coders or corporations; AI is for everyone.
Studio Whippy led an intense five-week co-design sprint, diving deep through interviews, audits and collaborative workshops to uncover the brand’s audience, mission and strategic vision. The result was a fresh, human-centered rebrand with a distinct visual language that helped Chipp stand out in a saturated AI market.

At the centre of the new identity is “Chippy,” a character inspired by the chat bubble that symbolizes the conversational nature of GPTs. Paired with a quirky visual system and a warm, approachable tone of voice, the brand captures Chipp’s mission to make AI feel friendly, familiar and accessible to all.
Following Studio Whippy’s rebrand of Chipp, the company saw a 400% increase in user base, marking a clear shift in reach, relevance and impact.
