The objective for the 2023 Festival Creative was to amplify TIFF’s mission of transforming the way people see the world through film. The colourful and expressive beam of light depicts a spark of inspiration and the emotional transformation one experiences while immersed in film. It is a reflection of the impactful energy and vibrancy of the Festival, which attracts audiences to celebrate the diverse perspectives and transformative ideas that are shared each year. Despite the challenges of the 2023 Writers’ and SAG-AFTRA strike, the campaign achieved a 20% increase in ticket sales and attendance, shop revenue doubled and digital targets were exceeded with metrics up 108%. The redesign of tiff.net drove a 25% increase in users, a 30% increase in sessions and a 15% increase in views following the launch.
