Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 program celebrates the world-class achievements and the tremendous evolution of the Canadian technology sector. The goal was to create a visual identity and tagline for the Fast 50 celebration awards gala. The recovering tech industry, challenges such as layoffs and the necessity for strategic reassessments inspired the tagline, “Make your Mark,” as this theme provides an opportunity to return to Deloitte’s roots, understand emerging trends and strengthen relationships with like-minded visionaries in the tech industry. The team created a hero visual symbolizing connection and culminating in a central diamond “mark.” The diamond shape speaks to the prestige of this award, and the diamond motif extends to create a glittering, pixelated gradient on the left. The identity extended to name tags, animations, digital signage, digital event platform, digital invitations, event registration page, menus, backdrops, photo props and physical award trophies. The event was a huge success, with client feedback stating that the event was vibrant, dynamic and reimagined from previous years
