Firm Owners Virtual Community Meet-up: AI's Impact on the Creative Industry

Sabaa Quao, Cossette's Chief Creative Officer, joins Members in the RGD's Virtual Community for Firm Owners to share his insights and perspectives on AI's impact on our creative industry. As a creative entrepreneur, he supports creative entrepreneurs in their never-ending-ever-evolving-business journey. He's giving keynote presentations at upcoming Rotman and SocialNext Toronto conferences and will share some of those findings with us. His presentation to our group will cover AI and the commodification of creativity, which will put downward pressure on the fees paid to design and creative firms. However, designers and creative people are uniquely equipped to work on some valuable terrain—aspects of projects that "AI can't do."

Sabaa is the Chief Creative Officer at Cossette, Canada's largest integrated marketing and advertising agency. Cossette's work reaches 95% of the Canadian population every day. With a wealth of diversified experiences, Sabaa brings a unique and forward-thinking perspective to Cossette's creative output. Heis also the co-founder of Wealthie Works Daily, a financial literacy and wealth management startup being built for kids and families. As a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for creativity and international business, Sabaa has spent the last 30 years building and growing platforms and companies across the tech, content, and culture space. Sabaa has led and collaborated with marketing and technology teams in over a dozen countries. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Sabaa holds degrees in Marketing from Concordia University, Communication and Design from Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD), and has an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
