Description
Finding your way in a fast-paced environment like transit facilities can be tricky. Designing for such environments calls for wayfinding systems that are intuitive, functional, accessible and responsive to time pressures. Drawing on his experience working on subway and train stations in Toronto, as well as airports and other building types elsewhere, Mostafa will share the design decisions and principles he has found most essential—not just for fast-paced environments, but for wayfinding and experiential design as a whole.

I’m a Wayfinding Designer with an architectural edge and over 8 years of experience turning ideas into eye-catching visuals. My skill sets span from crafting dynamic brand identities and digital illustrations to designing sleek wayfinding and experiential projects. The projects I worked on include cultural, heritage, development-related, public, and commercial projects, with local and multilateral organizations within Africa, Europe and North America. To mention some names, Takween ICD, the British Museum, the World Monuments Fund, different UN Organizations, and currently Entro in Toronto. My passion lies in blending my architectural background with graphic design to elevate spaces through innovative visual experiences. Where my architecture degree fuels my understanding of space, texture, and light, my graphic skills add a vibrant flair to projects. This emerges from my belief that creativity thrives where diverse design worlds collide.
