Research-Based Outreach

About this video
Description
Effective outreach starts with research. The more you learn about your constituents, the more respect you garner and the more acutely you can address their varied and complex needs.
Conducting meaningful research means asking open questions, following many possible paths, being open to far-fetched possibilities and, most importantly, managing your own expectations. Research-based outreach is not an excuse to pitch to everyone you meet, it's an opportunity to learn and develop credibility within a community of potential clients, allies and strategic partners. In the end, you will have a solid foundation on which to build an outreach strategy that positions your firm for sustainable growth.
