Sue Murphy

Sue grew up in Ireland, spending most of her time in a very small town behind a computer coding websites and making TV commercials featuring her cousins. After receiving a degree in Visual Communications in Dublin, she earned a scholarship to the Savannah College of Art & Design and received her Masters in Advertising there. Her career has involved moving back and forth between design and advertising agencies, and cities. This has led to her unique blend of branding and global experience. She worked in Amsterdam for Edenspiekermann, then relocated to the US where she has worked at Ogilvy, Wolff Olins, Wieden+Kennedy and Gretel, in New York, Atlanta, Portland and San Francisco. Her clients included Airbnb, Google, Amazon and Samsung. As Senior Global Director of Brand Design at The Coca-Cola Company, she oversees the world's most iconic, distinctive and beloved brands in the 200+ brand portfolio. Sue and her work has been featured in WiredFast CompanyRolling Stone and It’s Nice That. Sue has spoken at numerous conferences and provides a humble and honest viewpoint on branding.
