Accessibility: Designing Products That Empower Not Just Comply

Dee Miller

About this video

Description

What if the key to your next breakthrough wasn’t a flashy feature, but removing a barrier? Inclusive design isn’t about compliance. It’s a mindset that unlocks innovation, drives growth and empowers people. With over 4.4 million Canadians living with a disability, accessibility isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s where great design begins. Dr. Dee Miller will show how designing with—and for—marginalized communities leads to smarter, more intuitive and universally usable products. Drawing on real-world examples and her work at Adobe, she’ll share practices that you can integrate into your own design process to create exceptional, accessible experiences that inspire and empower every user.
