RGD Membership has its privileges! As part of the Membership Committee, I want to share a little bit about the RGD Book Club and encourage RGD Members to participate. If you’re not an RGD Member yet, now’s the time to join!
Do you love to read and engage in discussions about books? Perhaps you love to collect them, but need a little push to turn the first page? The virtual RGD Book Club is a great way to connect with fellow book-loving RGD Members in a casual and positive virtual space.
Featuring a mix of literary and design titles, the Club meets alternating months to engage in friendly conversation about the featured book of the evening, relevant topics and great book and media recommendations.

““I am a voracious reader, and it has been so fun to get to discuss books with other designers. I've especially enjoyed exploring fiction books through a creative lens. Plus, I've gotten so many great book recommendations from other participants!” ”
Danielle Martin Associate RGD
If a particular title doesn’t spark your interest, or if you don’t manage to finish the book in time, you are still welcome to join in. You never know what else you may discover!
The RGD Book Club is open to all Members of the RGD. Upcoming Book Club meetings take place June 19, featuring The Unmaking of June Farrow; August 21 on Fake Love Letters, Forged Telegrams and Prison Escape Maps and October 23, discussing The God of Endings.
You will also be added to the exclusive RGD Book Club Slack Channel, where you can continue the conversation, suggest books for future meetings or ask for book recommendations or share your own.
