Initiatives
The one thing I tell anyone considering an RGD Membership is that you get out of it what you put into it. Becoming involved as an RGD volunteer opens you up to meeting new designers, approaching new challenges and thinking about your role in our industry in new ways. Mandate
- Examine the status of Membership on an ongoing basis; make recommendations for new policies/eligibility/category refinements
- Propose and develop new benefits, programs and services for RGD Members
- Develop new and refine existing tools and resources available to professional Members
What we do
- Organize quarterly "Welcome Wagons" to introduce professional RGD Members to the benefits of Membership
- Organize our Virtual Communities program connecting professional Members who work in specific sectors, specific disciplines or roles, etc.
- Oversee the RGD's Slack Community identifying ways to engage and connect professional Members
- Assist with the coordination and update of supplier discounts and special offers for Members
- Assist the RGD staff with the coordination of RGD programs including Mentorship, professional Awards programs, etc
- Assist with the development of tools and resources including the Creative Earners survey
