Amanda DeVries RGD selected to design RGD Membership Sticker for 2025

After careful consideration, the RGD Design Committee selected Amanda DeVries RGD to design the RGD Certification Sticker for 2025.
The Sticker will be distributed to Certified RGD Members across Canada to be added to their RGD Certificates, representing another year of commitment to professional standards, ethical conduct and industry best practices.
“When the Committee reached out about this project, I was beyond honoured. The RGD, and with it the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, continues to create opportunities for me to stretch my skills and extend my reach into the wide, wonderful world of design. My goal is to create something both highly inclusive yet ultimately deeply personal. As a packaging designer, I am accustomed to designing within small spaces but having the Canadian design community as the audience has certainly changed the stakes!!”

About Amanda DeVries RGD
Amanda DeVries is the principal and creative director of Eye Candy Design, a boutique branding and packaging design firm that creates fresh, iconic work for food and beverage companies. She has nearly 20 years experience as a brand consultant, art director and graphic designer.
Amanda spent the first 10 years of her career in Ottawa, where the public sector kept her busy but not terribly inspired. In 2010, her family moved to southwestern Ontario to start an organic vegetable farm and this presented her with the opportunity to work directly with business owners on branding, packaging and marketing collateral. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge through various teaching gigs and mentoring younger designers. She is the mother of 3 children who share her love of good food, vintage shopping and travel.
This initiative has welcomed designs from RGD Members across Canada over the past 11 years, including Phil Mondor RGD in Kitchener, Design de Plume in Sudbury, Goodall Integrated Design in Toronto, Kyle Greenwood RGD in Toronto, Jennifer Weaymouth RGD in Toronto, Rod McDonald RGD in Nova Scotia, Xandr Sutjiadi RGD in Calgary, Matthew Clark RGD in Vancouver, Raj Grainger RGD in Toronto and in 2024 Elana Rudick RGD in Montreal.
