John Naboye Associate RGD

John is a Filipino-Canadian designer based in Alberta and is currently working at Funday. He specializes in motion design & language, brand identities & guidelines, and art direction. Throughout his 5-year career, John has worked with national-facing brands such as Denny’s USA, Edmonton Elks, RGD, Mother Parkers, and Esso, as well as provincial-facing brands such as Servus Credit Union, Ontario Lottery & Gaming, AGLC, and STARS Lottery. His accolades include recognitions at various provincial and national-level award programs such as the ACE Awards, Anvil Awards, Applied Arts, Strategy Marketing Awards, and The ONE Show. In 2024, he was inducted into Campaign Canada’s inaugural 30 under 30 list. Despite being mistaken as a student from time to time, he enjoys stepping into a mentor role to help guide young designers on their creative journey. He’s been a panelist and a speaker at events and classes at MacEwan University, and also judged the RGD Student Awards.
