Daniel Asel RGD
A creative director with nearly two decades experience designing for kids, I'm quite literally an engineer of imagination!
My passion lies in creating fun, accessible, engaging experiences that inspires creativity, fosters learning, and makes young audiences feel welcome. I’ve had the privilege of working with global brands like Nintendo, Star Wars, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League, and purpose-led organizations such as Canucks Autism Network, BC Parks, the Life Saving Society, and the University of Toronto.
In addition to my design work, I’m also a published academic author in STEAM education reform for neurodivergent students. Both art and science collide in my work towards building a future where all kids feel welcome and learn through play.

I know a lot about...
“Kids & Youth Design. I create memorable experiences that are fun, educational, and accessible.”
I'm thinking a lot about...
“How accessible design can empower neurodivergent individuals everywhere. As someone with ADHD and dyslexia, I’m passionate about creating equitable spaces where everyone can thrive. My work and research focus on blending empathy and design to address these challenges meaningfully.”
The best advice I've ever received is...
“Don't rest until you've scored a victory for humanity.”
