This opportunity

Smith + Andersen is looking for a Graphic Designer to join its Marketing & Communications team based in our Toronto office on a 14-month contract.
The role reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications. The successful applicant will work closely with the Marcom team and its internal clients across the firm. From RFP responses and presentations to sales collateral and videos, the role touches a variety of marketing communications deliverables.
The role requires balancing design work and communicating with internal clients and external industry contacts. We are looking for someone who sweats the small stuff: you are detail- and task-oriented, able to execute to high standards of turnaround time and quality. You are a self-starter who can own tasks from start to finish.
You are a multi-skilled creative professional: an InDesign whiz who can ably slum it in Powerpoint. You are familiar with working within templates, but you're also able to come up with fresh new ideas that help strengthen the Smith + Andersen brand.

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization.

  • Create graphic deliverables (video, signage, email communications, etc.) for corporate and industry events, including Smith + Andersen’s annual charity rock concert.
  • Build graphic assets for quick use by the entire graphics team, including but not limited to video intros, infographics, and icons.
