Designer

At Craib Design & Communications, our designers are creative thinkers who generate original ideas and bring them to life for top North American clients. We are looking for a designer who can create visually stunning, accessible design solutions that deliver work that earns clients’ trust and loyalty. The ideal candidate excels at managing multiple projects from concept to production, collaborates effectively with our creative team, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, along with a genuine passion for design.

Our team currently works on a hybrid schedule, including two days per week in our downtown Toronto studio, where we offer the support and inspiration of a vibrant creative environment

Job responsibilities

• Design and produce annual reports, sustainability reports, branding and identity systems, websites and other corporate communications materials across diverse industries.
• Balance creative vision with client business objectives, delivering solutions that meet or exceed strategic goals.
• Collaborate with team members while remaining self-motivated and capable of independent work.
• Manage daily tasks, project schedules, and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality creative deliverables.
• Prepare files to specification and attend press checks for print production as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design experience in an agency setting.
• Proven expertise in publication/editorial design, annual reports, ESG reports, and branding projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
• Strong typesetting, typography, and UX design skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively.
• Ability to think quickly and creatively while maintaining precision under tight deadlines.
• Skilled at visually interpreting technical and financial information.

Salary range

$68,000-$78,000 (salary commensurate with experience)
