In The Making is a welcoming brand designed for families with older parents (aged 50–65+) seeking to reconnect with adult children, as well as young adults (20–30) who want meaningful ways to spend time with family and friends at home. The subscription box encourages bonding through hands-on crafting and curated conversation starters that create a pressure-free environment for sharing. The identity draws inspiration from quilts as symbols of connection and togetherness.

A set of 24 quilt patterns was created to represent different relationships, piecing together to form a whole that reflects the most important connections in life. A warm-toned palette balances nostalgia with youthful fun: deep blue and red are paired with vibrant orange and yellow, while dark brown and cream replace stark black and white for a more welcoming tone. Packaging uses bold exterior colours to spark recognition and playful interiors to organize products and provide visual rest.
