At DesignThinkers 2018, Julian told everyone to go f*ck their offices (video evidence) . Since then, the world has changed. This talk is a reminder that we can't afford to revert back to our old dysfunctional relationship with the workplace. Using humour and vulgarity, Julian will challenge you to think differently about your new day-to-day. He'll show tangible examples of companies that are redefining work/life balance, fair compensation and progressive scheduling. Julian will inspire you to make positive changes, however small, to embrace the possibilities of working remotely post-pandemic. We have a collective chance to make work better—for everyone. Let not f*ck it up.

Julian is ON THE CHASE! One guy. Ten years. 200+ motion projects. He collaborated with tons of amazing clients including Cineplex, Shoppers Drug Mart, WWF and Elections Canada. His work has been awarded by The Webbys, Adobe, Applied Arts and Summit. Julian is a speaker on motion design, running a solo studio, talking about money, and working remotely. He is a VP on the RGD Board of Directors, a York/Sheridan Design alumni, and a world traveller living in withdrawal.

Julian Brown is ON THE CHASE! Julian creates ‘motion-first’ brands and content for smart clients (Sport Chek, University of Toronto, Cineplex, World Wildlife Fund). His motion design & branding projects have been awarded by Graphis, The Webbys, Adobe and many more. Julian is a speaker on motion design, running a solo studio, and, sometimes, telling people why their offices f*cking suck. He serves as a VP on the Board of Directors for RGD, Canada’s largest design association. Julian is a York/Sheridan Toronto alumni, a world traveller, and this one time he starred alongside his dog in a TV ad for pet food. It was adorable.
