About this video

Description

The largest online marketplace for handmade products, Etsy.com receives 1.4 billion page views per month and will generate $600 million of sales this year. Yet Etsy maintains its authenticity as a company that is human-scale by design. Etsy is successful because of the feeling, spirit and personality of its brand. But it collects massive amounts of data and sophisticated analytics to develop experienced insights that guide design and development. Randy explains when he and his team listen to the numbers and when they listen to their gut—with the context of Etsy’s vision—how Etsy functions as a company and how its brand relates to the world.
