Augmenting the everyday through design by Robert Brunner
About this video
Description
As designers, we often see companies trying to introduce technology into everyday products as disruptive. If it doesn't amplify, and maybe augment, what people already expect from an everyday object, it probably a bad idea. Using examples from Ammunition work, Robert explores how designers can create products that don't ask people to dramatically change their behaviour, but instead use technology to improve the things they already want to do. You'll gain insights into the how, when and why technology should be added to everyday objects.
