Mandate
- Identify and advise on opportunities for the RGD to expand and develop its programs and services for students, recent grads and design educators
- Identify and advise on opportunities for the RGD to increase its exposure to students, recent grads and design educators
- Identity and advise on opportunities for RGD to help increase standards of knowledge, skill, professional conduct and ethics for all graphic designers and design educators
What we do
- Assist with the RGD's annual Design Educator Conference in Vancouver
- Assist with the RGD's annual Student Awards
- Assist with the development of educator- and student-related content at DesignThinkers Conferences
- Develop ideas/strategies for getting more schools/programs involved in RGD’s automatic student membership program
- Develop ideas/strategies for transitioning more graduating student members to professional membership (Junior Affiliate or Provisional RGD)
