Lead designer – report layout, infographics, social media, web and print collateral
OREA needed a professionally designed report to advocate for factory-built housing as a solution to Ontario’s housing supply and affordability crisis.
The report was aimed at government stakeholders, policy professionals, and the general public, and required a clear and accessible layout to communicate complex policy research. In addition to the report, a suite of supporting materials was needed to launch the campaign across digital and print platforms.
I began by reviewing internal briefs, brand guidelines, and source content from OREA’s policy team. I worked closely with the marketing and communications teams to define tone, structure, and messaging priorities.
Social and web assets were designed in parallel, ensuring a cohesive experience across touchpoints. Visual consistency and readability were prioritized throughout the design and revision process.
The final deliverables included a 28-page digital and print-ready report, social media graphics, website banners, and print collateral. Design decisions focused on simplifying complex language and data, using infographics, clear headings, sidebars, and callouts. The campaign received strong internal feedback and broad media coverage, including mentions in major news outlets like Toronto Sun and National Post, as well as live interviews on CP24 and AM 640. The visuals played a key role in amplifying the campaign’s reach and message clarity.
