Enter the RGD's 2026 In-House Design Awards

The RGD’s 2026 In-House Design Awards are now open for entries, celebrating outstanding work created by internal creative teams in Canada and around the world. These awards recognize the strategic, creative and collaborative contributions of designers working within organizations where graphic design is not the primary service offering.
From corporate and government teams to non-profits, charities and institutions, the In-House Design Awards highlight the impact and value of in-house design across a wide range of sectors.
Why enter?
If your work is selected by the judges as an In-House Design Award winner, you and your work will receive:
- Recognition on the RGD website and across RGD’s communication channels, reaching over 70,000 creatives and industry professionals
- Recognition through RGD awards programming and promotional channels
- Opportunities to judge future RGD Awards, speak at RGD events and contribute to RGD newsletters, website and social media
Who can enter
Anyone working in Canada or internationally as part of an internal creative team may enter. This includes teams within companies, government bodies, non-profits, charities, institutions or other organizations where graphic design is not the primary service offered.
In-house teams may also submit work created in partnership with external design studios, provided the bulk of the work was completed in-house and/or the external studio contributed supporting elements.
What to submit
Internal creative teams are invited to submit work in the following areas:
- Branding (including logos, letterhead, brand standards and identity programs)
- Interactive (including websites, apps and user interfaces)
- Promotion (including social media, advertising, posters, invitations and direct mail)
- Print and digital publications (including newsletters, reports, brochures, books, e-books and e-newsletters)
- Packaging
- Environmental design (including signage, wayfinding, tradeshow booths, vehicle wraps and exhibits)
- Film and video (including presentations and motion graphics)
- Miscellaneous (including infographics, apparel and labels)
- Cross-media campaigns or programs
Any work launched after January 1, 2021 and before February 16, 2026 is eligible for entry.
Submission requirements
Each entry may include up to eight files. Accepted file formats include jpeg, png, tiff, eps, gif and pdf, with a maximum file size of 30 MB per file. Images should be at least 1000 px wide and no smaller than 3 inches on the shortest dimension at 300 dpi.
Interactive entries should include screen captures and/or a live URL. Video entries must be submitted in .mov or .mp4 format and should also include screen captures or still images.
Entrants are required to provide written descriptions outlining:
- Context: project goals, objectives, audience and any constraints
- Process: research, analysis and development approach
- Solution: deliverables, outcomes and how challenges were addressed
Entry fees and deadlines
Early Bird entry rates are available until January 30, 2026.
Final submission deadline: February 20, 2026.
