In-house departments who use a chargeback system (i.e. charging internal departments who request work from them, either monetarily or using a points system) may be required to break down the costs into specific design and production steps, staffing, outside supplier costs, etc. to explain or justify their pricing to their internal clients, at the same time allowing those clients to plan their budgets. This form lists possible charges that would be involved in a project, and allows the design department to calculate their estimate using billable hours and rates.
When to use this form
This will be used by in-house design departments when costing a project or campaign, especially when they, or their internal clients, are planning their budgets.
