Angelo Morano RGD

I am a design leader with extensive experience shaping brand systems, packaging, and integrated communications across retail, corporate, and agency environments. My work has focused on aligning design with strategic business objectives, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact at scale. I have held senior and leadership roles at nationally recognized organizations, leading the development of private-label programs, corporate brand initiatives, and multi-channel campaigns. My experience includes directing creative teams, establishing design standards, and guiding projects from concept through to production, with a strong emphasis on both craft and execution. I began my career in retail, contributing to the development of widely recognized Canadian brands, where I gained a foundational understanding of packaging, in-store experience, and large-scale brand systems. This experience continues to inform my approach to design as a disciplined, systems-driven practice. In addition to my professional work, I actively contribute to the design community through roles with the George Brown College Design Program Advisory Committee, the Evaluation Committee for the Registered Graphic Designers Association, and the GBC Institute without Borders program. These contributions reflect my commitment to supporting emerging talent and advancing professional standards within the industry. My work has been recognized internationally, including honours from the Mobius Advertising Awards, the London International Advertising Awards, the Packaging Association of Canada, and SIAL D'or Award. I remain committed to advancing design through leadership, mentorship, and ongoing engagement with the broader design community.
