Marc Piper RGD
I am an experienced brand designer and front-end developer with over 15 years in various industry roles. Starting in television and briefly in magazines, I honed my skills in visual creation for broad consumption. My five-year tenure in a financial institution’s marketing department enhanced accessibility through device compatibility and mobility support. Founding Studio 83 expanded my versatility, allowing me to collaborate with clients like Mirvish Productions, Enercare, The Hearing Foundation of Canada, and Amsterdam Brewery. These experiences led to my current position with the Ontario Public Service, where I designed for ministries like Energy, Destination Ontario, and Seniors and Accessibility. My blend of personal lived experiences and deep industry knowledge fuels my curiosity, driving me to ask insightful questions that uncover clients’ needs and collaborate effectively for exceptional outcomes.

I'm thinking a lot about...
“the intersectionality of the importance of the Bauhaus' movement and it's documentation of the rules of design that already existed and were practiced, but also the recognition that their practice was steeped and heavily influenced by white supremacy.”
I'm an RGD Member because...
“taken from my application .... "I believe that while the RGD has made some steps, the industry and organization in general still need to take a larger leap. I would like to be a voice and catalyst for that change in the organization and industry."”
The best advice I've ever received is...
“to never fall in love with your "work".”
