Greg Davis RGD

I founded Annex Graphics in 1991 with a simple goal: to help businesses communicate better through thoughtful, strategic design. For more than 30 years, I’ve worked with clients across a wide range of industries, delivering custom creative solutions that not only look great, but help them exceed their business objectives. As Partner and Creative Director, I’m deeply involved in every project. Whether it’s brand development, print design, or digital experiences, my focus is always on creating award-worthy work that is purposeful, strategic, and results-driven. I graduated from Canadore College in Graphic Design and Communications and earned my RGD certification with the RGD of Ontario in 1998. Over the years, I’ve also served as a strategic consultant to organizations such as Xerox, RRD, and Echo Advertising, helping them build and strengthen both their internal creative departments and their customer base. My approach to website design goes far beyond aesthetics. With hands-on expertise in back-end coding, web standards, and organic search engine optimization, I understand the technology behind the design. This allows me to create digital experiences that are not only visually compelling, but technically sound and built for performance. I’m passionate about continuous learning and growth, which led me to accept a part-time position at Mohawk College, where I teach Graphic and Web Design. Sharing knowledge and mentoring the next generation of designers is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

The best advice I've ever received is...

“Search for what moves you. When you discover it, immerse yourself in it. Master your craft — and pass that knowledge on.”

I know a lot about...

“Computers and Technology. I’ve always been a bit of a geek. I love design, but I’m just as fascinated by how things work behind the scenes. Over time, I became fluent in both creativity and code — a rare blend that’s opened doors and shaped my career in ways I never expected.”

I'm thinking a lot about...

“AI excites me for its positive potential and rapid evolution. It’s transforming how we think, create, and solve problems. At the same time, it keeps me mindful of how thoughtfully it must be integrated into our industry — not as a replacement for creativity, but as a powerful tool to enhance it.”
