With a successful track record spanning over a quarter century, I, as the self-employed business owner of Evolving Media & Design Inc., bring a wealth of multidisciplinary creative skills and professional knowledge to the table. My experience as a graphic designer has seen me wear multiple hats under the company banner, including designer, photographer, cinematographer, web developer, and web host provider. I have a knack for adapting to new trends and technologies, always considering the bigger picture.

My journey has seen me working with diverse clients, from entrepreneurs and other agencies to businesses, governments, and non-profit organizations of all sizes. I’ve helped them promote their products and services to Canadian and international audiences. The enduring relationships I’ve built with these clients, some of whom I’ve been working with for over a decade, are a testament to the quality of my work and the value I bring to the table.

In addition to operating the business, I’ve worked full-time as a Unit Media Specialist for five years, from December 2, 2019 to December 30, 2024. In this role, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Chairs, Directors, program administrators, researchers, and other team members from various academic units within the Faculty of Public Affairs at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. I managed multiple large-scale projects through effective teamwork, including redesigning and developing the websites for the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, the School of Social Work, The War in Ukraine Observatory Portal (EURUS), and the Sustainable Energy Program, which also involved filming interviews and many largescale events, to creating and producing promotional program videos, to designing program magazines, brochures, and photographing students in class to name a few.

Collaborating and working with the program Chair or Director and their small teams created a sense of satisfaction, from the initial pre-planning stage to discussing concepts and determining the most suitable and practical approach to managing and bringing an idea to life.

This diversity of collaborations not only showcases my adaptability and versatility but also my ability to work effectively with different academic units in a university setting or within your business or organization. Whether it’s a university setting or a corporate environment, I am adept at tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs. Collaboration and time management are key.
