Job responsibilities
Role Overview:
- We’re looking for an Intermediate Designer to join our growing team. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a knack for crafting engaging design and a passion for creating unique brand experiences, this is your time to shine. You’ll collaborate with our talented team, work on a diverse mix of projects and bring fresh creative ideas to the table.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design compelling visuals for print, branding, websites, communication materials, social media and more – from concept to execution.
- Interpret creative briefs and translate them into impactful design to create unique brand experiences.
- Collaborate on web design projects, ensuring seamless user experiences that align with brand guidelines.
- Manage and take ownership of projects from concept to completion and multi-task projects in order to meet various deadlines.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and team to develop and refine design concepts and processes.
- Participate in client meetings – present your ideas, gather feedback and refine designs with confidence.
- Ensure all creative work meets studio standards and exceeds client expectations.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Team:
- 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design (preferably in a studio or agency environment).
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
- An impressive portfolio showcasing a wide range of print and digital projects, with an impeccable sense of design and stellar consistency across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD).
- Familiarity with Microsoft products (in particular Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Sharepoint).
- Strong conceptual thinking and problem solving skills, combined with an excellent sense of visual design.
- A strong grasp of design principles, typography, layout and colour theory.
- Knowledge of typesetting and flowing French and other secondary languages into design layouts, ensuring proper formatting and readability.
- Well-versed in web design – UX and UI design.
- Equally comfortable with print production and set up.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping an eye on fine details.
- A well-organized team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but is just as comfortable working independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – you’re comfortable presenting your work to both clients and team members.
- A passion for exploring different design solutions across various mediums.
- Strong knowledge of AODA standards for both print and digital.
Nice to Have (But Not a Dealbreaker):
- Experience with animation or motion graphics (e.g., After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
- Knowledge of HTML & CSS basics.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, FunctionFox, etc.).
Salary range
$60,000-$65,000
