Not only do design capabilities play central roles in helping us to achieve our mission, but we aspire to be the best place in the GTA for designers to practice their craft. Our design team is the best in the business.

Our global clients come to us for our strategic counsel, powerful insights, and design solutions—and because we have a ‘roll-up-the-sleeves’ determination to deliver great work that matters. Throughline is a values driven organization fueled by a commitment to (1) moving things forward, (2) knowing oneself, and (3) relating to others with kindness and candor.

We are currently seeking an early-career creative and strategic Graphic Designer to join our team as a Design Intern or Design Fellow. Interns have minimal to no experience in professional settings; Fellows have real-world experience but are looking to make an industry change into healthcare.

The ideal candidate is an early career designer who is drawn to doing meaningful work in the healthcare industry. They demonstrate excellence in the foundational skills of graphic design to present information clearly and within an easy-to-understand story format. The candidate has a keen interest in information visualization to bring social science ideas to life in striking visual communications. This role is a great fit for someone who cherishes creative and strategic thinking and who thrives on the kind of camaraderie that emerges when talented, good-hearted people join forces with a sense of collective purpose.

This is a full-time, four-month, paid internship/fellowship to start in May 2024. Application requirements are listed at the end of this description. Only applicants who submit all three application requirements will be considered.

While we always invite applicants to help expand our thinking about the role based on what they can bring to us.
