About Angela
With over 30 years experience in the design industry, Angela is the Co-Founder and Strategic Director of TransformExp, an award-winning design firm with clients like BBC Television, BC Liquor Stores, Swatch Canada and The Ritz-Carlton. She has also spent many years designing for social change, including for the Free Nelson Mandela Campaign and the first World Aid Day concert. As an Educator, Angela has been nominated for seven local and national teaching awards and won Teaching Excellence Award at BCIT. She has also developed several creative industry career events with the British Columbia Institute of Technology Student Association and has organized events to including her very own BainsExtraBold UK TYPE TOUR 2018.

Andrew is a designer, studio founder, artist and educator. He manages Manoverboard, a purpose-driven studio with the mission of creating a better world by design. Manoverboard is a Certified B Corporation — the first in Manitoba. Andrew teaches design, theory and visual research methods at the School of Art at the University of Manitoba. His research interests include the history of visual culture, the language of social change and the nature of mind. His new newsletter about design and consciousness is called Gornisht.

About Michael
Michael is a Toronto-based designer working at the Government of Ontario. With 15 years of experience in the design industry, he helps public and private sector organizations create attractive designs that are AODA compliant and user-friendly. Since graduating from OCAD with a bachelor of design, Michael has worked at small agencies, as a freelancer, and as an in-house designer. For the past ten years he has been with the Government of Ontario where he now works at Cabinet Office, developing and overseeing branding and marketing campaigns for the province in a small but mighty team of creatives. He is a certified Accessible Document Specialist with the IAAP.
