Award Sponsor: SLD; School: LaSalle College Vancouver, Vancouver, BC; Educator Support: Anne Ahmad

Miski is a contemporary chocolate shop rooted in Peruvian culture, taking its name from the Quechua word for something delicious, sweet and eaten with pleasure. The design draws visual inspiration from Andean textiles and traditional geometric patterns, using repeating motifs of pattern and colour to create movement and energy across every application.

An illustration style that echoes textile texture pairs with a brand palette inspired by the natural landscapes and ingredients behind each signature flavour, while individually designed chocolate bars — each showcasing motifs tied to ingredients like lucuma, camu camu and muña — give the range a distinct shelf presence. The result stays authentic to Peruvian culture while feeling contemporary, appealing to foodies who are curious about new flavours and cultures and drawn to hands-on experiences like tastings and workshops.
