NorQuest College 60th Anniversary marked a milestone celebration designed to honour the institution’s legacy while reinforcing a forward-looking, people-first brand narrative. The project aimed to elevate external brand perception while strengthening pride, belonging and engagement among learners, staff and the broader community. The creative solution introduced a dual asset system: a bold, modular illustrated “60” and a simplified anniversary logo. The illustration used layered symbols to represent past, present and future, creating a flexible visual language that could scale across merchandise, digital platforms and events. In parallel, the refined logo ensured consistency and credibility in formal communications, balancing storytelling with accessibility, scalability and ease of internal adoption. The identity generated strong engagement across channels, including over 100 merchandise units sold within the first week of release. Social media performance further reinforced its impact, with the anniversary video driving measurable engagement and advocacy across platforms. Together, the system successfully supported a cohesive communications rollout while strengthening emotional connection to the NorQuest brand.

“This design immediately stood out to me. It’s bright, bold and full of energy, and it feels well suited to the target audience. I like the creative play on the “60.” It adds a sense of fun and movement while still keeping that celebratory tone. What I think works particularly well is the two approaches: a simplified anniversary logo that feels more corporate, and a more playful illustrated version that intertwines with the logo. They work really nicely together and give flexibility. It’s well-thought-out as a system, with elements that could easily extend across different platforms. Overall, it’s very well executed, especially given the constraints.”
