Front Desk
Jane
North Vancouver, BC
Front Desk magazine is a bi-annual print publication created by Jane’s in-house creative team. The magazine delivers practical business education to clinic owners and health and wellness practitioners while building community and trust across disciplines. Designed as an editorial extension of the brand, the publication needed to function as a credible, independent magazine rather than a promotional tool. A design system guided by clarity, delight and keepability balances strong typographic hierarchy with generous whitespace, warm art-directed photography, custom illustration and print-native interactive elements such as tear-away cards and cut-out awards.
Each volume is distinct yet cohesive, establishing Front Desk as an ongoing editorial platform rather than a one-off campaign. Distributing 55,000 copies per issue, the magazine now operates at a scale comparable to established industry publications. Front Desk represents Jane's sustained investment in print within a predominantly digital industry, demonstrating that a small, dedicated team can uphold publishing standards that rival traditional media.
