The Arctic Spas Polar Den Murals had two main objectives: to create an advertising and brand recognition opportunity for Arctic Spas as a main sponsor of the Spruce Grove Saints Junior Hockey team; and to create a space that represents a sense of community, pride and excitement for the team. This was achieved by taking the current Arctic Spas branding and adapting it to reflect an “edgier” and bolder style typically found in sports design. 

Freehand lines and shapes were added to guide viewers' eyes around the piece and to invoke a sense of movement. The company’s taglines were enlarged and used as texture behind and around images. The final result is an exciting mash-up of hot tubs and team pride, which brings colour, passion and creativity to an otherwise cold, harsh concrete room. With the recent opening of the space in April 2025, Arctic Spas is excited to see how patrons will enjoy the space in the coming years.
