Bondi is a journal-sharing app designed for international students aged 19–25 who may struggle with stress, isolation or adapting to a new environment. The name combines “Bond” and “Diary,” reflecting its purpose of fostering connection through shared experiences. Inspired by the designer’s own challenges as an international student, Bondi creates a warm and safe space where users can document their journeys and find comfort in knowing they are not alone.

The app encourages daily journaling as a tool for self-reflection and community building, while also offering a unique feature—Print My Journal—which transforms digital entries into a physical recap at the end of each year. By combining the intimacy of personal writing with the support of shared storytelling, Bondi bridges the gap between digital connection and real-world belonging. The result is a platform that nurtures mental well-being, fosters empathy and helps students create lasting bonds through journaling.
