Dashi Ramen
Integrated Award — Brand Identity, New Brand

SUPER STUDIO
Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada

Dashi Ramen is a new culinary destination designed to stand out with a bold, unmistakable brand identity. The objective was to create a visual system that made the type of cuisine immediately clear while respecting its cultural origins. Carolane Godbout Isabel (Super Studio) approached the design with a literal yet thoughtful concept. The letter “S” in Dashi was shaped like a ramen noodle, ensuring the cuisine was instantly recognizable and memorable.

This was paired with a stylized “D” inspired by the Narutomaki spiral, a traditional ramen ingredient that adds both authenticity and visual energy. Care was taken to design with cultural sensitivity, ensuring the graphics evoked the cuisine without appropriating traditional Japanese motifs. The result is a distinctive identity that positions Dashi Ramen as both approachable and iconic, giving the new restaurant a strong visual voice in a competitive dining landscape.
