About Steve Sato

Steve is the founder of Sato+Partners LLC, a management and organization development consulting practice specialized in making design and innovation groups more effective and efficient. Steve has 13 years of experience as a consultant in customer-driven innovation, strategy and planning for Hewlett Packard, Samsung, Motorola, Metro and Weirton Steel. Steve is co-chair of the Design Management Institute’s research program on measuring the impact of innovation and design on business. Steve uses "Design Thinking" based approaches with his clients to gain insights and develop successful adaptive solutions that endure in today's complex and dynamic environments. He has a Masters in Design from the Institute of Design at IIT and a Masters of Engineering Management from Northwestern U.
